Icontellyou
Icon Library
Icontellyou is a library of pixel perfect icons crafted with adaptive and consistent style.
It’s a project we initiated on February 2018 to design a bundle of icons that is suitable for both website and mobile uses.
Artboard
An artboard of 32×32 px is used to build each icon in Icontellyou.
Not much details can be shown in this artboard of such size, and thus resulting in the simple and yet clear icons that are still readable even in small screens.
The grid structure inside the artboard is developed to maintain consistency of the size, look, and position of each icon as well as cohesion of the whole icons.
The use of safe zone and padding helps us to keep the icon inside the artboard so that no part of the icon will be cut off when they are exported for use.
Shapes
The grid used in Icontellyou is constructed by basic shapes.
In the design process, the shapes are used as base to maintain the proportional and easy recognizable look of the icons.
Style
There are four icon styles in Icontellyou to accomodate the wide range of its usability. Those styles are line, solid, flat, and filled.
Each of the styles can be applied for different uses in interface design. While the rounded elements and pixel perfect design give the icon friendly look and clarity even in small sizes.

To ensure the recognizability of each icons, real life object references are used as a visual base for the design.
